The Lord shall hear, and them afflict, of old who hath abode: Because they never changes have, therefore they fear not God.
And of thy mercy slay my foes; let all destroyed be That do afflict my soul: for I a servant am to thee.
When God heard this, he waxed wroth, and much loath'd Isr'el then:
O God of our salvation, thou, in thy righteousness, By fearful works unto our pray'rs thine answer dost express: Therefore the ends of all the earth, and those afar that be Upon the sea, their confidence, O Lord, will place in thee.
