Why dost thou boast, O mighty man, of mischief and of ill? The goodness of Almighty God endureth ever still.
But unto them that do him fear God's mercy never ends; And to their children's children still his righteousness extends:
Praise God, for he is good: for still his mercies lasting be.
How long shall things most hard by them be uttered and told? And all that work iniquity to boast themselves be bold?
Behold, he with iniquity doth travail, as in birth; A mischief he conceived hath, and falsehood shall bring forth.
Behold, they belch out with their mouth, and in their lips are swords: For they do say thus, Who is he that now doth hear our words?
For they that strangers are to me do up against me rise; Oppressors seek my soul, and God set not before their eyes.
His mouth with cursing, fraud, deceit, is fill'd abundantly; And underneath his tongue there is mischief and vanity.
