Behold, thou in the inward parts with truth delighted art; And wisdom thou shalt make me know within the hidden part.
The man that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And as he thinketh in his heart, so doth he truth express.
For in their mouth there is no truth, their inward part is ill; Their throat's an open sepulchre, their tongue doth flatter still.
Examine me, and do me prove; try heart and reins, O God:
Do thou to all those that be good thy goodness, Lord, impart; And do thou good to those that are upright within their heart.
I thereupon have unto thee my sin acknowledged, And likewise mine iniquity I have not covered: I will confess unto the Lord my trespasses, said I; And of my sin thou freely didst forgive th' iniquity.
Those that to me are enemies, of me do evil say, When shall he die, that so his name may perish quite away?
