And call upon me when in trouble thou shalt be; I will deliver thee, and thou my name shalt glorify.
Then they to God in trouble cry, who them from straits doth free.

O ye the sons of men! how long will ye love vanities? How long my glory turn to shame, and will ye follow lies?
They look'd to him, and lighten'd were: not shamed were their faces.
The angel of the Lord encamps, and round encompasseth All those about that do him fear, and them delivereth.
I to remembrance God did call, yet trouble did remain; And overwhelm'd my spirit was, whilst I did sore complain.
For thou art gracious, O Lord, and ready to forgive; And rich in mercy, all that call upon thee to relieve.
In troublous times I'll call on thee; for thou wilt answer send.
In my distress to God I cry'd, and he gave ear to me.
