Give ear unto my words, O Lord, my meditation weigh.
My prayer hear, O God; give ear unto my words at length.
The words which from my mouth proceed, the thoughts sent from my heart, Accept, O Lord, for thou my strength and my Redeemer art.
When I to thee my prayer make, Lord, to my voice give ear; My life save from the enemy, of whom I stand in fear.
O Lord, do thou bow down thine ear, and hear me graciously; Because I sore afflicted am, and am in poverty.
Lord, hear the right, attend my cry, unto my pray'r give heed, That doth not in hypocrisy from feigned lips proceed.
Hear, Isr'el's Shepherd! like a flock thou that dost Joseph guide; Shine forth, O thou that dost between the cherubims abide.
