My mouth shall wisdom tell: My heart shall knowledge meditate.
The words which from my mouth proceed, the thoughts sent from my heart, Accept, O Lord, for thou my strength and my Redeemer art.
My heart brings forth a goodly thing; my words that I indite Concern the King: my tongue's a pen of one that swift doth write.
The just man's mouth doth wisdom speak; his tongue doth judgment tell.
The entrance of thy words gives light, makes wise who simple are.
Of him my meditation shall sweet thoughts to me afford; And as for me, I will rejoice in God, my only Lord.
But know, that for himself the Lord the godly man doth choose: The Lord, when I on him do call, to hear will not refuse.
