But the salvation of the just is from the Lord above; He in the time of their distress their stay and strength doth prove.
God also will a refuge be for those that are oppress'd; A refuge will he be in times of trouble to distress'd.
He'll call on me, I'll answer him; I will be with him still In trouble, to deliver him, and honour him I will.
Salvation doth appertain unto the Lord alone: Thy blessing, Lord, for evermore thy people is upon.
God is our refuge and our strength, in straits a present aid;
And they that know thy name, in thee their confidence will place: For thou hast not forsaken them that truly seek thy face.
The Lord's my strength and shield; my heart upon him did rely; And I am helped: hence my heart doth joy exceedingly, And with my song I will him praise.
He carefully his bones doth keep, whatever can befall; That not so much as one of them can broken be at all.
Therefore, although the earth remove, we will not be afraid: Though hills amidst the seas be cast;
He only my salvation is, and my strong rock is he: He only is my sure defence; much mov'd I shall not be.
