With mouths set wide, they 'gainst me said, Ha, ha! our eye doth see.
For a reward of this their shame confounded let them be. That in this manner scoffing say, Aha, aha! to me.
Their mouths they open'd wide on me, upon me gape did they, Like to a lion ravening and roaring for his prey.
Turned back be they, Ha, ha! that say, their shaming to requite.
For he hath me delivered from all adversities; And his desire mine eye hath seen upon mine enemies.
Like water I'm pour'd out, my bones all out of joint do part: Amidst my bowels, as the wax, so melted is my heart.
In thee let all be glad, and joy, who seeking thee abide; Who thy salvation love, say still, The Lord be magnify'd.
