The Lord redeems his servants' souls; none perish that him trust.
Who doth redeem thy life, that thou to death may'st not go down; Who thee with loving-kindness doth and tender mercies crown:
My lips shall much rejoice in thee, when I thy praises sound; My soul, which thou redeemed hast, in joy shall much abound.
Into thine hands I do commit my sp'rit: for thou art he, O thou, JEHOVAH, God of truth, that hast redeemed me.
And from all his iniquities he Isr'el shall redeem.
The wicked plots against the just, and at him whets his teeth:
But their own sword, which they have drawn, shall enter their own heart: Their bows which they have bent shall break, and into pieces part.
