The face of God is set against those that do wickedly, That he may quite out from the earth cut off their memory.
The Lord is King through ages all, ev'n to eternity; The heathen people from his land are perish'd utterly.
Th' earth, as affrighted, then did shake, trembling upon it seiz'd: The hills' foundations moved were, because he was displeas'd.
Behold on those that do him fear the Lord doth set his eye; Ev'n those who on his mercy do with confidence rely.
The Lord did plant the ear of man, and hear then shall not he? He only form'd the eye, and then shall he not clearly see?
