O Lord, give ear unto my voice, when I do cry to thee; Upon me also mercy have, and do thou answer me.
O Lord my God, consider well, and answer to me make: Mine eyes enlighten, lest the sleep of death me overtake:
Hear my loud cry, my King, my God; for I to thee will pray.
Give ear unto me when I call, God of my righteousness: Have mercy, hear my pray'r; thou hast enlarg'd me in distress.
Thou turned hast my sadness To dancing; yea, my sackcloth loos'd, and girded me with gladness;
Because my life with grief is spent, my years with sighs and groans: My strength doth fail; and for my sin consumed are my bones.
