Against me though an host encamp, my heart yet fearless is: Though war against me rise, I will be confident in this.

I will not fear though thousands ten set round against me be.

The righteous shall it see, and fear, and laugh at him they shall:

Arise, O Lord; save me, my God; for thou my foes hast stroke All on the cheek-bone, and the teeth of wicked men hast broke.

When he shall evil tidings hear, he shall not be afraid: His heart is fix'd, his confidence upon the Lord is stay'd.
