The Lord's my light and saving health, who shall make me dismay'd? My life's strength is the Lord, of whom then shall I be afraid?
The mighty Lord is on my side, I will not be afraid; For any thing that man can do I shall not be dismay'd.
For God the Lord's a sun and shield: he'll grace and glory give; And will withhold no good from them that uprightly do live.
He only my salvation is, and my strong rock is he; He only is my sure defence: I shall not moved be.
The Lord will light my candle so, that it shall shine full bright: The Lord my God will also make my darkness to be light.
Thee will I praise, for thou me heard'st and hast my safety been.
The words which from my mouth proceed, the thoughts sent from my heart, Accept, O Lord, for thou my strength and my Redeemer art.
He only my salvation is, and my strong rock is he: He only is my sure defence; much mov'd I shall not be.
God lives, bless'd be my Rock; the God of my health praised be.
I in the Lord do put my trust: how is it then that ye Say to my soul, Flee, as a bird, unto your mountain high?
Salvation doth appertain unto the Lord alone: Thy blessing, Lord, for evermore thy people is upon.
For thou the God art of my strength; why thrusts thou me thee fro'? For th' enemy's oppression why do I mourning go?
By thee through troops of men I break, and them discomfit all; And, by my God assisting me, I overleap a wall.
