The habitation of thy house, Lord, I have loved well; Yea, in that place I do delight where doth thine honour dwell.
And for the house of God our Lord, I'll seek thy good alway.
For in thy courts one day excels a thousand; rather in My God's house will I keep a door, than dwell in tents of sin.
My soul is poured out in me, when this I think upon; Because that with the multitude I heretofore had gone: With them into God's house I went, with voice of joy and praise; Yea, with the multitude that kept the solemn holy days.
