My sins and faults of youth do thou, O Lord, forget: After thy mercy think on me, and for thy goodness great.

After thy loving-kindness, Lord, have mercy upon me: For thy compassions great, blot out all mine iniquity.

O do thou help and succour me, who art my God and Lord: And, for thy tender mercy's sake, safety to me afford:

Against us mind not former sins; thy tender mercies show; Let them prevent us speedily, for we're brought very low.

Thy countenance to shine do thou upon thy servant make: Unto me give salvation, for thy great mercies' sake.
