The whole paths of the Lord are truth and mercy sure, To those that do his cov'nant keep, and testimonies pure.
Thy tender mercies, Lord, from me O do thou not restrain; Thy loving-kindness, and thy truth, let them me still maintain.
Because on me he set his love, I'll save and set him free; Because my great name he hath known, I will him set on high.
He mindful of his grace and truth to Isr'el's house hath been; And the salvation of our God all ends of th' earth have seen.
Justice and judgment of thy throne are made the dwelling-place; Mercy, accompany'd with truth, shall go before thy face.
Truth met with mercy, righteousness and peace kiss'd mutually:
From heav'n he shall send down, and me from his reproach defend That would devour me: God his truth and mercy forth shall send.
Whoso doth offer praise me glorifies; and I Will shew him God's salvation, that orders right his way.
For right is God's word, all his works are done in verity.
Though I in midst of trouble walk, I life from thee shall have: 'Gainst my foes' wrath thou'lt stretch thine hand; thy right hand shall me save.
