A seed shall service do to him; unto the Lord it shall Be for a generation reckon'd in ages all.

The children of thy servants shall continually endure; And in thy sight, O Lord, their seed shall be establish'd sure.

When God the people writes, he'll count that this man born was there.

If in this manner foolishly to speak I would intend, Thy children's generation, behold, I should offend.

This is the generation that after him enquire, O Jacob, who do seek thy face with their whole heart's desire.

There fear'd they much; for God is with the whole race of the just.
