Day utters speech to day, and night to night doth knowledge teach.
Thine only is the day, O Lord, thine also is the night; And thou alone prepared hast the sun and shining light.
Both young men, yea, and maidens too, old men, and children small.
Then say I, What is man, that he remember'd is by thee? Or what the son of man, that thou so kind to him should'st be?
Praise ye the Lord. God's praise within his sanctuary raise; And to him in the firmament of his pow'r give ye praise.
