The heav'ns God's glory do declare, the skies his hand-works preach:

When I look up unto the heav'ns, which thine own fingers fram'd, Unto the moon, and to the stars, which were by thee ordain'd;

And then the heavens shall his righteousness declare: Because the Lord himself is he by whom men judged are.

The heavens by the word of God did their beginning take; And by the breathing of his mouth he all their hosts did make.

The heav'n, ev'n heav'ns, are God's, but he earth to men's sons hath giv'n.
