God raiseth all that are bow'd down, upholdeth all that fall.
The Lord doth give the blind their sight, the bowed down doth raise: The Lord doth dearly love all those that walk in upright ways.
Although he fall, yet shall he not be cast down utterly; Because the Lord with his own hand upholds him mightily.
When I had uttered this word, (my foot doth slip away,) Thy mercy held me up, O Lord, thy goodness did me stay.
Hold thou me up, so shall I be in peace and safety still; And to thy statutes have respect continually I will.
O why art thou cast down, my soul? why in me so dismay'd? Trust God, for I shall praise him yet, his count'nance is mine aid.
I troubled am, and much bow'd down; all day I mourning go.
