But of thy pow'r I'll sing aloud; at morn thy mercy praise: For thou to me my refuge wast, and tow'r, in troublous days.
Because thou art my God, to do thy will do me instruct: Thy Sp'rit is good, me to the land of uprightness conduct.
O Lord, instruct me in thy way, to me a leader be In a plain path, because of those that hatred bear to me.
O with thy tender mercies, Lord, us early satisfy; So we rejoice shall all our days, and still be glad in thee.
Rejoice thy servant's soul; for, Lord, I lift my soul to thee.
For but a moment lasts his wrath; life in his favour lies: Weeping may for a night endure, at morn doth joy arise.
Give understanding unto me, so keep thy law shall I; Yea, ev'n with my whole heart I shall observe it carefully.
Thou mad'st and fashion'dst me: thy laws to know give wisdom, Lord.
His loving-kindness yet the Lord command will in the day, His song's with me by night; to God, by whom I live, I'll pray:
Because of those mine enemies, Lord, in thy righteousness Do thou me lead; do thou thy way make straight before my face.
O do thou keep my soul, do thou deliver me: And let me never be asham'd, because I trust in thee.
