I with my voice cry'd to the Lord, with it made my request:
Be merciful to me, O God; thy mercy unto me Do thou extend; because my soul doth put her trust in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings my refuge I will place, Until these sad calamities do wholly overpass.
Wherefore unto the Lord my cry I caused to ascend: My humble supplication I to the Lord did send.
O Lord, I unto thee do cry, do thou make haste to me, And give an ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
Save me, O God, by thy great name, and judge me by thy strength:
O blessed is the man to whom is freely pardoned All the transgression he hath done, whose sin is covered.
The voice hear of my humble pray'rs, when unto thee I cry; When to thine holy oracle I lift mine hands on high.
