Thou, Lord, wilt sure the wicked slay: hence from me bloody men.
Cutt'st off that liars be: The bloody and deceitful man abhorred is by thee.
All ye that evil-doers are from me depart away; For the commandments of my God I purpose to obey.
Hence from me, wicked workers all; For God hath heard my weeping cries.
God shall an arrow shoot at them, and wound them suddenly:
But thou, O Lord my God, those men in justice shalt o'erthrow, And in destruction's dungeon dark at last shalt lay them low: The bloody and deceitful men shall not live half their days: But upon thee with confidence I will depend always.
They who are wicked into hell each one shall turned be; And all the nations that forget to seek the Lord most high.
On them their own iniquity the Lord shall bring and lay, And cut them off in their own sin; our Lord God shall them slay.
For they that needy are shall not forgotten be alway; The expectation of the poor shall not be lost for aye.
