By whom the Red sea parted was: for mercy hath he ever.

By him divided was the sea, he caus'd them through to pass; And made the waters so to stand, as like an heap it was.

The sea, by thy great pow'r, to part asunder thou didst make; And thou the dragons' heads, O Lord, within the waters brake.
