I poor and needy am; come, Lord, and make no stay: My help thou and deliv'rer art; O Lord, make no delay.

Let not my wrongful enemies proudly rejoice o'er me; Nor who me hate without a cause, let them wink with the eye.

Lord, let the proud ashamed be; for they, without a cause, With me perversely dealt: but I will muse upon thy laws.

O do thou help and succour me, who art my God and Lord: And, for thy tender mercy's sake, safety to me afford:

For without cause have they for me their net hid in a pit, They also have without a cause for my soul digged it.

But thou art near, Lord; most firm truth all thy commandments are.

Thy testimonies thou command'st most faithful are and right.

Unspotted is the fear of God, and doth endure for ever: The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

Lord, free me from my foes; I flee to thee to cover me.

But yet mine en'mies lively are, and strong are they beside; And they that hate me wrongfully are greatly multiply'd.
