Surely that which concerneth me the Lord will perfect make: Lord, still thy mercy lasts; do not thine own hands' works forsake.

I am thy servant, wisdom give, that I thy laws may know.

Wisdom's beginning is God's fear: good understanding they Have all that his commands fulfill: his praise endures for aye.

Give understanding unto me, so keep thy law shall I; Yea, ev'n with my whole heart I shall observe it carefully.

Know that the Lord is God indeed; Without our aid he did us make: We are his flock, he doth us feed, And for his sheep he doth us take.

O let my earnest pray'r and cry come near before thee, Lord: Give understanding unto me, according to thy word.

Eternal righteousness is in thy testimonies all: Lord, to me understanding give, and ever live I shall.

O come, and let us worship him, let us bow down withal, And on our knees before the Lord our Maker let us fall.
