I'll rise at midnight thee to praise, ev'n for thy judgments right.
His loving-kindness yet the Lord command will in the day, His song's with me by night; to God, by whom I live, I'll pray:
Sev'n times a-day it is my care to give due praise to thee; Because of all thy judgments, Lord, which righteous ever be.
Then with integrity of heart thee will I praise and bless, When I the judgments all have learn'd of thy pure righteousness.
I of the morning did prevent the dawning, and did cry: For all mine expectation did on thy word rely.
O Lord, thou art most righteous; thy judgments are upright.
That very right thy judgments are I know, and do confess; And that thou hast afflicted me in truth and faithfulness.
Unspotted is the fear of God, and doth endure for ever: The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
I sworn have, and I will perform, to keep thy judgments right.
