My ways I shew'd, and me thou heard'st: teach me thy statutes, Lord.
Teach me thy way, and in thy truth, O Lord, then walk will I; Unite my heart, that I thy name may fear continually.
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; thy paths, O teach thou me:
O Lord, instruct me in thy way, to me a leader be In a plain path, because of those that hatred bear to me.
I thereupon have unto thee my sin acknowledged, And likewise mine iniquity I have not covered: I will confess unto the Lord my trespasses, said I; And of my sin thou freely didst forgive th' iniquity.
O Lord, thou ever blessed art, thy statutes teach thou me.
For I'll declare my sin, and grieve for mine iniquity.
I sworn have, and I will perform, to keep thy judgments right.
