Against me princes spake with spite, while they in council sat: But I thy servant did upon thy statutes meditate.

I will thy holy precepts make my meditation; And carefully I'll have respect unto thy ways each one.

Princes have persecuted me, although no cause they saw: But still of thy most holy word my heart doth stand in awe.
