Thy statutes, Lord, are wonderful, my soul them keeps with care.

Such knowledge is too strange for me, too high to understand.

The whole paths of the Lord are truth and mercy sure, To those that do his cov'nant keep, and testimonies pure.

Open mine eyes, that of thy law the wonders I may see.

I cry'd to thee; save me, and I will keep thy laws alway.

I to thy testimonies cleave; shame do not on me cast.

Blessed are they who to observe his statutes are inclin'd; And who do seek the living God with their whole heart and mind.
