O Lord, thou ever blessed art, thy statutes teach thou me.

Let Israel hope in the Lord, for with him mercies be; And plenteous redemption is ever found with him.

Look on me, Lord, and merciful do thou unto me prove, As thou art wont to do to those thy name who truly love.

My ways I shew'd, and me thou heard'st: teach me thy statutes, Lord.

With us he dealt not as we sinn'd, nor did requite our ill.

But, in an acceptable time, my pray'r, Lord, is to thee: In truth of thy salvation, Lord, and mercy great, hear me.

After thy loving-kindness, Lord, me quicken, and preserve: The testimony of thy mouth so shall I still observe.
