I carefully inclined have my heart still to attend; That I thy statutes may perform alway unto the end.
Teach me, O Lord, the perfect way of thy precepts divine, And to observe it to the end I shall my heart incline.
My heart unto thy testimonies, and not to greed, incline.
My heart incline thou not unto the ills I should abhor, To practise wicked works with men that work iniquity; And with their delicates my taste let me not satisfy.
So shall I keep for evermore thy law continually.
His judgments were before me, I his laws put not from me.
