His heart is firmly stablished, afraid he shall not be, Until upon his enemies he his desire shall see.
The Lord doth take my part with them that help to succour me: Therefore on those that do me hate I my desire shall see.
Only thou with thine eyes shalt look, and a beholder be; And thou therein the just reward of wicked men shalt see.
He of my mercy that is God betimes shall me prevent; Upon mine en'mies God shall let me see mine heart's content.
Be of good courage, and he strength unto your heart shall send, All ye whose hope and confidence doth on the Lord depend.
Mine eyes shall also my desire see on mine enemies; Mine ears shall of the wicked hear that do against me rise.
Wait on the Lord, and be thou strong, and he shall strength afford Unto thine heart; yea, do thou wait, I say, upon the Lord.
Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and thee exalt shall he Th' earth to inherit; when cut off the wicked thou shalt see.
Whoe'er they be that in their wealth their confidence do pitch, And boast themselves, because they are become exceeding rich:
The mighty Lord is on my side, I will not be afraid; For any thing that man can do I shall not be dismay'd.
