O ye that are of Abr'ham's race, his servant well approv'n; And ye that Jacob's children are, whom he chose for his own.
For Jacob to himself the Lord did chuse of his good pleasure, And he hath chosen Israel for his peculiar treasure.
That I thy chosen's good may see, and in their joy rejoice; And may with thine inheritance triumph with cheerful voice.
For on his holy promise he, and servant Abr'ham, thought.
With joy his people, his elect with gladness, forth he brought.
His servant Isr'el right he gave: for his grace faileth never.
