And in the day of my distress hide not thy face from me. Give ear to me; what time I call, to answer me make haste:
Nor from thy servant hide thy face: I'm troubled, soon attend.
Far from me hide not thou thy face; put not away from thee Thy servant in thy wrath: thou hast an helper been to me. O God of my salvation, leave me not, nor forsake:
Thou hid'st thy face; they troubled are, their breath thou tak'st away; Then do they die, and to their dust return again do they.
Lord, haste me to deliver; with speed, Lord, succor me.
Haste, Lord, to hear, my spirit fails: hide not thy face from me; Lest like to them I do become that go down to the dust.
And let me, in thy righteousness, from thee deliv'rance have; Cause me escape, incline thine ear unto me, and me save.
Be pleased, Lord, to rescue me; Lord, hasten to mine aid.
Bow down thine ear to me, with speed send me deliverance: To save me, my strong rock be thou, and my house of defence.
But be not far, O Lord, my strength; haste to give help to me.
How long wilt thou forget me, Lord? shall it for ever be? O how long shall it be that thou wilt hide thy face from me?
Lord, hear the right, attend my cry, unto my pray'r give heed, That doth not in hypocrisy from feigned lips proceed.
