Romans 9:33

The third line (in English) translating the meaning of each word in the Orthodox Yiddish Brit Chadas

as it stands written: here lay I in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of stumbling; and everyone, who will believe in him, will not put to shame to be. (Yeshayah 8, 14; 28, 16) (according to Targum HaShevim)

brothers, the desire of my heart and my prayer to Hashem is for their salvation.


I however, brothers, if I preach still the circumcision (commandments (of) merit), why am I still all persecuted? then has yet the stumbling block of the tree been removed!
