because the married woman is from HaTorah bound to her husband for life; when however the husband dies, is she free from the law of husband.

a wife is bound as long as the husband of her lives; and when you (PL) husband dies, is she free to marry with whomever she wants; only in the L-rd.


the wife has not any authority to say over her own body, only the man; and just so has the man not any authority to say over his own body, but the wife.


therefore, while at the man's alive she will herself give over to an other man, will she called to be adulteress; however if the husband dies, is she free from the law, and not any adulteress, when she becomes (the wife) of an other husband.


now however are we free from the law, being dead which relates to that, to which we are were bound, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit, and not according to the oldness of the letter.
