and if your hand misleads you to the stumbling, cut it off! it is better for you (SG) to enter into life into a cripple, than to have your both hands and to go in Gehenna into—in the fire, which extinquished itself not out, where their (grave) worm dies not, and the fire is not extinquished. (Yeshayah 66, 24.)
