then did Yehoshua again to them speak, so to say; I am the light of the world; the one, who obeys/follows me after, will at any case not live in the darkness, but will have the light of life.


and in that last one day, the great day of the Yom Tov, did Yehoshua stand and has cried out, so to say: if anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.


and he has taught day daily in house HaMikdash; the chief kohenim however and the scribes and the leaders from the people have sought him destroy.


and they come again to Jerusalem. and while he is walking about in House the Holy, come to him the chief kohenim, and the scribes, and the elders;


in that hour has Yehoshua said to the crowds of people: like against a bandit are you (PL) come out with swords and clubs, Me to arrest. day out day one am I sat in Beis HaMikdash and taught, and you (PL) did Me not take.


and he is stand up again from there, and is come to the borders of Yehudah and of Beyond Yarden; and again have crowds of people themselves gathered by him; and as usual, did he them again teach.


and Yehoshua has answering to them said: as against a robber are you (PL) come out with swords and clubs Me to arrest.


and all have him forsaken, and are run away.
