and when they are come, say they to him: Rebbe, we know, that you (SG) are truthful, and show deference not on anyone; because you (SG) look not on the face of people, but in truth teach the derech of Hashem. but as Hashem did us test, (to) us to entrust the Good News, speak we so, not as to please men, but Hashem, who tests out out our hearts.

who it speaks from self alone, that (one) seeks his own honor; the one however who seeks the honor of him, who has him sent, the this one is truthful, and any unrighteousness is in him not there.


for this reason pay you (PL) also taxes, because they (the people in power) are Hashem's servants and occupy themselves with the this one thing.


and they have begun him to accusing, so to say: the this have we found mislead our people, and he forbid to pay taxes to the Caesar; he says also, that he is the (Rebbe) king the Moshiach.


lawful we give tax to the Caesar, or not?


and when he did come, did he immediately went (come) over to him, and says: Rebbe! and did him kiss.


tell then us, what you think: permitted one give the emperor tax, or not?


therefore, having just the this very service, since we have received mercy, fall we not down despondent;


and they send to him their disciples with Herod's people, so to say: Rebbe, we know, that you (SG) are truthful, and that you (SG) teach in truth the way of Hashem, and shows deference not after anyone; because you (SG) are not partial any people.


and they send to him some of the Pharisees and of Herod's people, so that they should him trap with a word.


he has however known of their hypocrisy, and has to them said: why putting to test you (PL) Me out? bring Me a denarius, so that I shall it see.
