shepherd Hashem's flock, who are with you (PL), exercising oversight, not being compelled, but out of good will, according to (the will of) Hashem; and not for shameful gain, but with cheerfulness;

because the overseer must be without a flaw, as Hashem's steward; not stubborn, not any quick-tempered, not any drunkard, not any fighter, not inclined to shameful (money) gain;


also so must the deacons be serious (people), not any double tongued, not any lovers of much wine, not inclined towards shameful gain;


remind them to be submissive to authorities and rulers, to be obedient, to be ready for all kinds of deeds good,


not any drunkard, not any fighter; but mild, not any quarreler, not any money lover;


when serves there a soldier on his own expenses? who plants it a vineyard, and eats not its fruit? or who tends/feeds a flock, and eats not of the milk of the flock?


and out of greed for money will they you (PL) make merchandice with deceitful words; this judgment on them from long on (ago) delays itself not and the destruction their slumbers not.


and give attention, that anyone shall not fall away from Hashem's grace, that any bitter root shall not grow up to trouble and that through it shall a many defiled be;


whom one must clog up the mouth; who turn over entire households and teach what (is) fit not on account of shameful (money) gain.


have not any fear, you (SG) little flock; because it is well pleased the Father your, you (PL) to give the kingdom!


without your knowing however have I nothing wanted to do; so that your good shall not be compelled, but of good will.


who did Himself give for our sakes, so as us to redeem from every wickedness and to cleanse for Himself a people treasured, who are passionate for deeds good.


so then am I ready according to my opportunities to proclaim the News Good also to you (PL) in Rome.


then did Paul answer: what do you (PL), that you (PL) weep and break me the heart? because I am ready not only bound to become, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the L-rd Yehoshua.


I know, that after my departure will come in among you (PL) evil wolves, who will not have any mercy on the flock;
