He is the One, who is come by water and blood, Yehoshua the Moshiach; not only with the water alone, but with the water and with the blood. and it is the Spirit, who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.

this is also a prefigurement of the mikveh, which saves you (PL) now, not the removal of impurity from the body, but the desire/request for a good conscience in relation to Hashem, through the standing up again (from the dead) of Yehoshua the Moshiach;


who for a greater punishment is worthy this one, who has the son of the Most High trampled with the feet and held for defiled the blood of the covenant, through which he is holy become, and blasphemed the Spirit of grace.

because we have heard of your faith in the Moshiach Yehoshua and of the love, which you (PL) have to all holy ones,

in the this consists the love, not that we have love had Hashem, but that He has us love had, and sent His Son as a (sacrifice) atonement for our sin.

as Yehoshua has immersed become in a mikveh, is he about to climb out from water; and look, the heavens have themselves opened, and he has seen Hashem's Spirit descend like a dove, and come on him;
