They are not in trouble as others are; they are not plagued like other people.

Such are the wicked; always at ease, they increase in riches.

Their houses are safe from fear, and no rod of God is upon them.

I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.

If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children.

But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.

When I think of it I am dismayed, and shuddering seizes my flesh.

that the wicked are spared in the day of calamity and are rescued in the day of wrath?
