For I am poor and needy, and my heart is pierced within me.

I call upon you, O Lord; come quickly to me; give ear to my voice when I call to you.

As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God.

But I am lowly and in pain; let your salvation, O God, protect me.

For yet “in a very little while, the one who is coming will come and will not delay,
