O God, you know my folly; the wrongs I have done are not hidden from you.
If you try my heart, if you visit me by night, if you test me, you will find no wickedness in me; my mouth does not transgress.
But who can detect one’s own errors? Clear me from hidden faults.
Do not let my treacherous enemies rejoice over me or those who hate me without cause wink the eye.
My wounds grow foul and fester because of my foolishness;
O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you.
For my eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from my presence, nor is their iniquity concealed from my sight.
