O Lord, you brought up my soul from Sheol, restored me to life from among those gone down to the Pit.
He has redeemed my soul from going down to the Pit, and my life shall see the light.’
he sent out his word and healed them and delivered them from destruction.
For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
For you do not give me up to Sheol or let your faithful one see the Pit.
To you, O Lord, I call; my rock, do not refuse to hear me, for if you are silent to me, I shall be like those who go down to the Pit.
For you have delivered my soul from death and my feet from falling, so that I may walk before God in the light of life.
You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again.
For great is your steadfast love toward me; you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
O Lord, by these things people live, and in all these is the life of my spirit. Oh, restore me to health and make me live!
