Psalm 109:21

But you, O Lord my Lord, act on my behalf for your name’s sake; because your steadfast love is good, deliver me.

Answer me, O Lord, for your steadfast love is good; according to your abundant mercy, turn to me.

You are indeed my rock and my fortress; for your name’s sake lead me and guide me;

Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.

For your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my guilt, for it is great.

After Jesus had spoken these words, he looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you,

But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you.

But I am lowly and in pain; let your salvation, O God, protect me.

he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.
