The crown of the wise is their wealth, but folly is the garland of fools.
They have distributed freely; they have given to the poor; their righteousness endures forever; their horn is exalted in honor.
The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and toil adds nothing to it.
Wealth is a ransom for a person’s life, but a poor person pays no attention to a rebuke.
In all toil there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
Precious treasure remains in the house of the wise, but the fool devours it.
Crush a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, but the folly will not be driven out.
he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.
And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of dishonest wealth so that when it is gone they may welcome you into the eternal homes.
