When they had come near Jerusalem and had reached Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,

I tell you, I will never again drink of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

Every day he was teaching in the temple, and at night he would go out and spend the night on the Mount of Olives, as it was called.

He came out and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him.
