“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”

Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place because Jesus often met there with his disciples.

Now the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover to purify themselves.

As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into human hands,

Six days before the Passover Jesus came to Bethany, the home of Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.

The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

He said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,

He said, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” But they said, “What is that to us? See to it yourself.”

“You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven, and the sacrifice of the festival of the Passover shall not be left until the morning.

Simon the Cananaean and Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed him.
